Community Service And Volunteer Options for Teens

Teens Do Community Service

Whether it’s beach cleanup, collecting non-perishable goods at IGA for CAST, or helping serve dinner to the Maureen’s Haven guests at local churches, our Southold teens are busy volunteering! The Southold Free Library has some volunteer options for teens as well.

For the Month of March:

Join the Teen Advisory Board and be a part of a planning team for library programs and services, help with the weekly Chess Club or be a tutor for an elementary school student.  If you are an especially busy teen, you can always Read and Rate a book!

All of these opportunities will earn you Community Service hours and are explained more fully in our newsletter which you can find on the website: www.southoldlibrary.org or simply stop by the library and pick up a hard copy. You can always contact Miss Penny for more information:  penny@southoldlibrary.org

We look forward to seeing you at the library!
