Thirty-five years ago, author Barbara Cooney wrote a children’s book “Miss Rumphius” about a woman who planted native seeds and plants. Join us on a Miss Rumphius book walk in the Library’s Pocket Park. Collect a piece of the story at each station and then gather together with other readers as we retell the story using story props. Leave with your story props, seeds to plant, and ideas for building a better world!
