PTSD is the result of experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event or series of events. It affects approximately 3.5 percent of U.S. adults every year and will be diagnosed in an estimated one in 11 people in their lifetime. O’Brien, MS, PMHNP-BC, PMHCS-BC will discuss how to recognize PTSD, and what treatments and options are available. An East End Libraries Event hosted by Westhampton Free Library.
