POWER TO THE POLLINATORS
LAURA KLAHRE, BLOSSOM MEADOW FARM
Thursday, February 6, 1 – 2pm
There are close to 450 different bee species in New York State, so why does everyone focus on honeybees? Join local veteran Beekeeper Laura Klahre as she discusses which pollinators will be most advantageous for your garden. She will share details for supporting bee populations (e.g., flowers to plant, types of habitat to provide, and advanced bee ranching efforts). Laura’s strawberry jam, a finalist in the 2020 Good Food Awards, will also be available for tastings.
