The Library is sponsoring a free tax filing service for people who made $55,000 or less in 2018.
The service is called VITA and it is an official, IRS approved program with trained professionals who prepare your Federal and NYS tax returns for you. Sign up today for your individual session by calling or visiting the Library. Currently, there are spaces available for the following afternoons: February 13 and 27 and March 6 and 13. The sessions take place between 1 and 4pm at the building next to (north of) the Southold Rec Center on Peconic Lane.
